This is the single largest job I have acted as general contractor on. The house was built in the 1940’s and was in real bad shape when we started. We took the downstairs right down to the studs and started over. We were on the job for 6 months straight and hired 11 subcontractors. We reused as much of the existing millwork as we could and in the end the customer got a beautifully restored house, far cheaper than if we had torn down the old one and built new.
